HISTORY 1985 - 1990:

Crafts is a small machine shop with general equipment and machinery. The machines produce less precise automation parts. However, automation got too competitive with too many players in the market. Crafts decides to venture out into a more niche market to provide specialised service for Multi-national Corporations. During this time, not many firms are willing to invest in long-term partnerships. Crafts sees the potential there and decides to focus on client support and loyalty.

Early 1990s:

Crafts Precision moves towards providing precision components for the Stamping Industry, dealing with steel and carbide.

1997 onwards:

Crafts Precision Engineering invests more than S$2.0 millions into new technologies and the state-of-the-art equipment for plastic molding parts. This is an ongoing process. It goes to show that we are still dedicated to the vision of providing the best specialist team, the latest technology and the best customer support for all our customers.

Year 2000 and beyond:

We intend to be pioneers in the plastic and stamping markets. Crafts Precision Engineering is presently researching to improve on our equipment and expertise. We want to be more precise in our production. Crafts Precision intends to set our standards to be on par with our Japanese competitors.
